The competitive pit area was buzzing this past weekend as teams gathered to compete for top honors at the 2026 Franklin County Fall Festival. When the final scores were in, BBQ Mom turned in a standout performance and took home the coveted Grand Champion title.

The Podium Breakdown

BBQ Mom earned an impressive score of 524.5714, edging out a strong field of competitors. Bridge Builders BBQ secured the Reserve Grand Champion spot with a score of 515.4284, while Pray For Me BBQ claimed third place with 512.0002. BBQ Bandits rounded out the top four with a final score of 483.9998.

The TOY Points Race Heats Up

BBQ Mom’s impressive victory gave her a welcome boost in the overall standings, moving her up to 6th place in the Team of the Year (TOY) rankings.

Still, the win wasn’t quite enough to knock Rudy Q from the top spot. Rudy Q held onto the overall lead by a razor-thin 2.1 points, setting the stage for an exciting finish as the season continues.
